Before an order leaves Bowlita, every item is inspected for its condition and finishing. That extra check helps us catch visible issues before the piece is packed and sent to you.

Questions before you order
Who is Bowlita, and who makes the accessories?
Bowlita is an independent Lolita accessories retailer. We select pieces from independent studios and brands and make them easier to shop in English. Bowlita is the retailer, not the maker.
What do BNT, KC, and coord mean?
BNT means bonnet: a headpiece that frames the face and usually ties with ribbon. KC comes from the Japanese term ‘katyusha’ and refers to a headband-style Lolita headpiece, usually built around a bow. A coord is the complete outfit, including the dress and the accessories worn with it.
Are pieces in stock or made to order?
Most Bowlita products are held in stock. Some custom pieces are made to order. Each product page shows the current availability and preparation time for that item.
What will I receive with my order?
You will receive the item and option selected on the product page. Other accessories shown in styled photographs are not included unless the product description clearly says otherwise.
How long does delivery take?
Most parcels arrive in about 10 business days after dispatch, although timing can vary by destination and carrier. Made-to-order pieces need preparation time before they ship; that estimate is shown on the product page. Tracking is emailed after your parcel is dispatched.
What if my order arrives damaged, is incorrect, or I need to return it?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact support@bowlita.com. You may choose a replacement or a refund. For other returns, contact us before sending anything back. The return address will be provided by email after your return is approved.
Is checkout secure, and how is my payment information handled?
You can pay by PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard through Shopify’s secure checkout. Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, the standard used to protect card-payment information. Bowlita does not store your full card number. How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
What is covered by PayPal Purchase Protection?
For eligible purchases, PayPal Purchase Protection may cover the purchase price and original shipping when an order does not arrive or is significantly different from its description. Eligibility requirements, filing deadlines, and exclusions apply, and PayPal decides whether a claim qualifies. See PayPal’s Purchase Protection terms.
